Lough - Sarah Lambert

Sarah Lough, daughter of Polly and Ambrose LAMBERT, was born Aug 8, 1831. She had 7 sisters and 9 brothers of whom but two brothers, James of Rosedale and David of Ks survive. Her husband died Jan 30, 1905. She united at an early age wit the Old Bank Springs Christian Church. She spent all of her life but one in Waveland and 3 years in Milligan on the farm where she was born. After an illness of 3 months she departed this life, Oct 27, 1911 at the age of 80 years 2 months and 19 days. Two brothers and a nephew, Joe Lambert who made his home with her, besides many other relatives and a host of friends are left to mourn her loss. She was always patient and enjoyed....deeds will live in the memory of those who wait to join her in the life beyond. Funeral services were held in the Guion Church Sunday Oct 29, by Rev. Wm. Notham. Interment at Seybold graveyard east of GUion. Thus ends a useful career. (sorry, some of obit. is gone).
